vuo.color
These nodes are for working with colors.
A color can be defined in terms of:
- HSL — hue, saturation, lightness
- RGB — red, green, blue
A color’s alpha component defines its opacity, ranging from completely transparent to completely opaque.
Example compositions:
- Explore Color Schemes: Displays various color schemes, based on points spaced at certain intervals around the red-green-blue color wheel. Scroll to change the hue. Click to change the color scheme.
Nodes:
- Average Colors (vuo.color.average): Finds the average of the given colors.
- Blend Colors (vuo.color.blend): Blends two colors into a single color.
- Get HSL Color Values (vuo.color.get.hsl): Gives the HSLA (hue, saturation, lightness, alpha) values of a color.
- Get RGB Color Values (vuo.color.get.rgb): Gives the RGBA (red, blue, green, alpha) components of a color.
- Make HSL Color (vuo.color.make.hsl): Creates a color from HSLA (hue, saturation, lightness, alpha) values.
- Make RGB Color (vuo.color.make.rgb): Creates a color from RGBA (red, green, blue, alpha) components.
