Broadcasts video, audio, and metadata to the local network.
Send Audio— Broadcasts an image or audio to the network.
Send Metadata— Broadcasts structured text information. See the node set documentation for more information.
Source Name— How this node identifies itself to other NDI devices on the network. If you don’t specify a name, the composition’s name is used.
Source Groups— Categories of sources this node belongs to. For example, if you’re broadcasting from a camera in Studio 1, you could specify the groups
Publicgroup is automatically added, making this source visible to all NDI devices on the network.
Received Metadata— Fires an event when a receiver sends information back to the video source. Typically each receiver sends a metadata packet upon connecting, containing the product name and manufacturer.
Tally Program/Preview Changed— Fires an event when a receiver (typically a video switcher system such as the NewTek TriCaster) selects or deselects this video source as the main program content or preview content.
Connections Changed— Fires an event when the number of receivers changes. You could use this information, for example, to stop rendering when no receivers are connected, in order to reduce network bandwidth and power usage.
